What we use
Strictly necessary — always on
The site stores a single first-party value in your browser’s local storage — and only once you interact with the cookie banner — to remember your choice. It is not a cookie, never leaves your device, and is never used to track you.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
pp_consent |
Local storage (first-party) | Remembers your cookie/analytics preference so we can honor it. | Until you clear it or change your choice. |
Analytics — only if you opt in
If you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (property G-81FF3GXV61) to measure aggregate site usage. We configure it to anonymize IP addresses and to disable Google Signals and ad personalization. The cookies below are set only after you opt in, are cleared if you opt back out, and are never present unless and until you consent.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google (third-party) | Distinguishes visitors for aggregate analytics. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<id> | Google (third-party) | Maintains analytics session state. | Up to 2 years |
What we do not use
- No cookies by default — none are set unless you opt in to analytics.
- No advertising or marketing trackers, pixels, or fingerprinting — ever.
- No ad personalization or cross-site signals — Google Signals and ad features are turned off.
- No other third-party code — fonts are self-hosted; there are no embedded widgets, social buttons, tag managers, or session recorders.
Analytics is the only optional technology, it is off until you turn it on, and you can change your mind at any time. Declining loads nothing from Google.
Managing your preferences
You can review and change your choice at any time using the control (also the pill at the bottom-left of every page). You can additionally clear local storage and site data through your browser’s settings. Because analytics is off unless you opt in, visitors sending Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals are never tracked by default — those signals are respected unless you explicitly choose to turn analytics on.
Changes
If we ever introduce a new storage technology, we will list it here and, where required, ask for your consent before it loads. Questions? Email [email protected], or see our Privacy Notice.
